The short version
Ins Autopilot never asks for your Instagram password and never posts on your behalf outside the actions you configure. The only data that leaves your browser is your Instagram user ID and daily action counts (how many follows, unfollows and likes you have used today) — used solely to enforce your plan's daily limits.
What we collect
- Instagram user ID — a numeric identifier, used to bind your license and track plan quotas.
- Daily action counts — per-action-type totals for the current day, reset daily, used to enforce plan limits.
- License key — if you purchase a plan, the key you paste into the extension and its binding status.
- Email address — only if you email support or purchase a plan (payment is processed by our payment provider; we never see your full card details).
What we never collect
- Your Instagram password — the extension runs inside the browser session where you are already logged in.
- Your posts, stories, messages (DMs), or follower lists — these are never read, stored or uploaded.
- Browsing history outside Instagram pages the extension operates on.
How data is stored
Preferences (daily limits, Safe List, filters) are stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage. Daily action counts and license bindings are stored on our server (Cloudflare Workers infrastructure) and are not shared with, or sold to, any third party.
Data retention & deletion
Daily counts reset automatically every day. If you want your user ID and license binding deleted, email [email protected] and we will remove them within 72 hours.
Third parties
The extension interfaces with Instagram pages in your own browser session. Our backend runs on Cloudflare Workers (Cloudflare, Inc.) and payments are handled by our payment provider under their own privacy policies. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
